Attitude of Gratitude and Thankfulness
An Attitude of Gratitude and thankfulness Lesson Objective: To understand how an attitude of Gratitude and Thankfulness can provide each of us an opportunity to really be thankful for the many blessings that God has bestowed on us. Preparing our hearts to really accept the gifts that God has for us. Without true gratitude, we run the risk of having our blessings never overflowing. Scripture: Luke 17: 11-19; Colossians 3: 1-3 and 15-17; Philippians 2: 14-15; James 1:17 Gratitude Definition Dictionary- the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness True Thankfulness Being really thankful for a gift What happens when you get a gift that you really do not like Do you give it to someone else later? Do you take it back to the store to exchange it? Do you put it in the closet and never wear it?
