Members must work for Peace and Unity Definition of Unity- To become one in thought, desire, and purpose first with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, and then with other Saints Church should be joined together 1 Corinthians 1:2 and 10-13 Christ prayed for Unity for the Church- John 17: 11 and 20-23 Spirit of Unity- Romans 15: 5-6 Factors one should have for unity and peace- 1 Peter 3:8 Love and commitment to truth leads to Unity and Peace Truly thinking of the well being of others- Philippians 2: 2-5 One Body- Ephesians 4: 2-6 Service to Others lead to Unity and Peace 1 Corinthians 12: 17-25 Serving the body - Romans 12: 3-8 Each using their gifts to build the kingdom of God Ephesians 4: 11-13 1 Corinthians 1:7 1 Corinthians 12: 14-16 Summary Galatians 3:28 We are all part of God’s family- John 3: 1 What attitude do YOU bring to the CHURCH?
