Thought for the Day
Someone once said that the worst thing in life is not death but a life without purpose. Too many times men run here and there in perpetual pursuit of happiness. Some go through alcohol, sex, drugs or even material acquisitions and yet they can’t tarnish their thirsts. So how finally find enjoyment in life? The good functioning of each product is in the eyes of its manufacturer or its creator. The best way to understand and make an iPhone work well, you have to go to its manufacturer and the same way to use your Mercedes effectively, you also have to go to its manufacturer because it would be catastrophic to go to the manufacturer BMW to try to maximize the potential of a Mercedes. The bible tells us in the book of proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails »
So to better understand the functioning of man, approach your creator GOD and meditate on his word because it is written in the book of John 1: 1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ”and this word assures us peace, joy, love and satisfaction. I pray that in this week you will get closer to GOD.

Psalm 69:32b” You who seek God let your heart live”
There is no place like home. A famous sentence that reminds you that no matter the beauty and joy of where you’ve been, out there Home is always special: it is where you find those you love and who love you and Who know you. Being with God is the same way, His presence gives you a sense of Home. A place of safety, comfort, support, Joy, belonging, identity, acceptance and peace. He delights in being with us as much as we delight being with Him.
I pray that we’ll always have that same feeling everyday He blesses us to live inspite of the circumstances.
Dear Lord,
Once again we thank you for the word of life you sent. Make every soul aware that you are Home to us and let that revelation put Joy in us continually.
Amen.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4″ For though we live in the world, we don’t wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. on the contrary they have divine power to demolish strongholds”
God knows that the enemy we face is stronger than us. He knows that we will never make it through any attack on our own. But with God on our side, victory is ours and our enemies don’t stand a chance. The latter may have a plan to kill still and destroy us but God make everything work for our good and came to give us abundtant life. So let’s remember the battle is won not by our might or power but by God’s power and His Holy spirit.
Dear Lord,
Grant us the wisdom and power to face our daily battle. Remind us the battle is yours. Protect us from any temptation to try our own way or to lean on our understanding and make us Still in you.
In Jesus name.
Amen
