Message: “Picking up Dropped Dreams” from Min Jean

If you have you bible I have to you to open it to the book of Genesis 21 Lesson objectives 1. To Identify the Pain of a Deferred Dream: Using Hagar and Ishmael's expulsion into the desert (Genesis 21:14-16), illustrate the profound grief, despair, and feeling of abandonment that comes when a long-held dream appears to be dead and beyond recovery. 2. To Recognize God's Faithful Intervention in Our Desperation: Connect the narrative of God hearing Ishmael's cries and opening Hagar's eyes to see the life-saving well (Genesis 21:17-19) to the truth that God actively intervenes to resurrect our hopes even when we have given up, revealing provision we previously could not see. 3. To Embrace the Promise That God Has a Future for Our "Dropped Dreams": Challenge the congregation to trust, as Hagar did, that God is not only a God of rescue but also a God of purpose, who holds a future and a plan for what we thought was lost (Genesis 21:20-21), empowering us to pick up and pursue our dreams with renewed faith. I want to talk to us this morning about: Picking up Dropped Dreams And I want show us what it says in the scripture, and I think a lot of time we need to understand , that God is a God who gives his people a dream , a goal and purpose , a mission , a plan for their life’s A dream is a God given projecting destiny, it mean you see it out there something that God shows you , that says this is who I see in you and that is call a dream , is a designated end, is a vision of what I shall be when God places is hands upon my life. And there is no question that God has a dream for every person, but with that dream always comes with nightmare, to try to steal that dream, and if you do not learn to endure the nightmares, you will never experience the dream, so many people give up and quick because they have the dream planted by God in their heart, but then comes the nightmares I want to show us that is a biblical pattern, I want to show US that it is impossible for God to give a person a dream and HE does give people a dream for their life a desire the end. A dream again a projecting destiny of where you shall be, where your family shall be, where your marriage shall be, where your life shall be, and never does God plant that in your heart with that dream that the enemy does not come with his nightmares！！！ And unless you can endure house nightmares, you will never experience heavens dreams for your life, The moment that most people give up, is the moment of the greatest opportunity. Everything we want is on the other side on not giving up, and I promise you when God put a dream in your heart the nightmares will come, What is the nightmares, is the pathway to your destiny, you cannot get through the dream without the nightmares and the pathway of the nightmares are important because its purifies you, its purifies your motive The nightmare is the enemy trying to steal that dream, and get you to give up. The question is, can God trust you with troubles?, because the moment that the enemy sense you have a God given dream , he will try to send the opposite and cause the nightmares And if God can put you in trouble, is the vote of heaven confidence in you, Trouble and the nightmares is the vote of heaven confidence in you, Your trouble is a pathway to triumph, you pain is the pathway to a high praise, you mess is the pathway to the miraculous thing of God in your life Your dream is your destiny, your dream tells you where you are going, the nightmares is the pathway to it Your adversity will advance you; your nightmare is the pathway to the dream that you are call to, Calvary was the pathway to the dream of the church, God says I have a dream, I want a church, Jesus said I will built my church AND the gate of heal will not prevail against it, heal said I do not think so, we will stop you, we will meal you to the cross, But when Jesus step out of that tomb, guest what, the nightmare became the pathway to the dream The purpose of the dream is to fall, the purpose of the dream is to give you a sense of destiny, that you are not just here wondering through life, but there is a sense of destiny, purposes and calling that is upon your life and you do not have to be in ministry to have dream. God has a dream for every person, you are not an accident. The dream is about the sense of destiny on your life ## The second purpose of the dream is to inspire you to research for it To strength, to get out of your comfort zone, to go beyond what you think your capable of doing, that is what the dream that place into your heart will do for you. The nightmare is three fall , the nightmare when you are going through darkens, when you are going through trial , when you are going through setbacks, and adversity； then guess what？ You are gonna find out three things The nightmare is about self-discovery, you goanna find out who you are, you goanna find that your security can not be on what other people says of fell about you, that at someone you have to get something inside of you, that says I believe it, I do not care what anybody says, I know what God has told me and you find out who you are, The nightmare is not just about self-discovery, but is also about God discovery, you will find more about God in the darkens in your life than you will in the sunshine days, God says I dwell in thick darkness, he understand; In the book of 1kings 8:12, then Solomon prayed, “O Lord, you have said that you would live in a thick cloud of darkness. In other words, if you want know more about God then he will always you to go through darkness; it is not God will for you to always be in sunshine days, successful, beautiful days, but actually you will learn more about God and who HE is in the dark places, in the longingly places, in the time you do not understand and you being forgotten, you do not know who you are anymore, you do not know what is happening anymore and God is strangely silence. And many of us we are walking in that Kind of darkness , we do not want to be alone, but God has you alone, he has you corner, I promise you he is doing a mighty mighty work in your life, you goanna find out who you are, and you are goanna find out who God is ### The purpose of the nightmare to shut the devil’s mouth When you nightmare is over like job, it will shut the devil’s mouth, when you nightmare is over; is going to cause the voice of heal, that that voice who was saying to you God is a liar, you are not go, you will never do it or be anything and all of those voices that was in your mind just give up, you mind just take your life, you are a failure, that nightmare is going shut the devil’s mouth went God turn it around , and I promise you HE will turn it around Everything that has been built is a direct result of a dream and persistence to that dream of someone who will not give up. Jesus prove that you have to go beyond the nightmare to get to the dream when he hen on the cross and he rose the third day, job proof that if you will endure the nightmare you will experience the dream and God blessed him double When joseph had a dream but then came the nightmare the prison, the pit, the false accusation was the pathway to the dream and if you cannot endure the nightmare you will never experience the dream The closer you get to the fulfillment to your dream the tougher it get That is why; every now and then you need to get the power of the Holy Spirit moving in your life again, Every now and then you need God to come to in power and touch you a fresh, so that the enemy does not still the dream of a blessed family, and a blessed life, and a blessed career, and a blessed marriage that is God will for your life The nightmare says just give up; someone says long ago, everything doing is worth doing well, And this is a new statement a say, anything worth doing is worth failing over that is why you need to endure the nightmare, because if you want to give yourself, give yourself to something worth failing over, Christ likeness is worth failing over, maybe I am not like Christ, like I want to be, even I am failing my way thought be like Christ, at least I am trying, I will not let non-Christian people telling me how to be a better Christian, at less I am trying, at least I am starving, at least I am reaching You are not a failure because you fail, you are failure because you quick, the nightmare was the pathway to the dream of joseph, the nightmare was the pathway for the dream for job, the nightmare was the pathway for the dream for Jesus I am on my way to my dream, I am going to be mighty in God, I am not finished, I am not settling, I am moving forward The nightmare is like a dream, but it fill with hopelessness, despair and no escape, Do not let the nightmare still your dream, Genesis 28:18 18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it. Jacob when he put his head-on the stone and God open up the heavens in give him a dream for his life , if you will put on your head on the rock God will give you your dream Get your hand in the right place and the heaven will open , God dream for your life will come when you start putting your hand in the right place, if you get the dream form heaven you can built your life on it, What God tells you, he will perform, what are your heard lay on? Job laid his head on Jesus chest and that is how he could endure his nightmare I am preaching to somebody this one to someone who will say, I will not give up, I will not let up because I know what God has promise me, HE lay his hands on us, HE started it , HE is going to finished it , HE promised it , HE is going to performed it , The nightmare gets louder the closer you get to the dream, and God at the same time often choose TO get silent, that why so many people quick, you try to get to the dream the nightmare come. Do not let anyone opinion because your reality, does because you are walking through the nightmare does me the dream is not real So many time people give up and quick right on the verge, that is why I want to end with this story in Genesis 21:17 Because in this story we have mirth the boy, and I just want to read it to you and I want you to see it , and what you to see what is happening , she is out of the woodenness and the scripture says, 17 God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.” 19 Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. What I want you see in this passage she had a dream but she get into the wilderness, and in the moment of discouragement, she drops the dream, she put is under the bush, she heard the child crying, she has no resources; she has no food , no water in the hot desert, and she can barely heard the baby died and suffer , so she goes far enough away, then she can hear him, there is an amazing thing that the bible says God heard the dream of the child crying out Which tells me something really powerful, that if you have a God given dream , it can pray and cry even “IF” you have given up on it, and she has given up, she has drop her dream and she has walk up somewhere , and she was wiping because she know that her baby was dying , her dream was dying. But the dream was crying out, and God did heard Hagar but he heard the dream And God sampling says to that mother go back, I really feel that this simple message is for somebody this morning. go back , I want you to go back and pick some dream that you have dropped , if you Go back and pick them up I will put my power of resurrection on it, then the bible say God show where the water was, HE open her eyes, God show her how to keep the dreams alive I am telling you today that; it is the time to pick up the dropped dreams; I am so glad that God is faithful. Pick up those drop dream an say heal cannot have my family, demons cannot have my study in China, pick up your dropped dream, addiction cannot have my children, wrong people cannot have me Let us stand in our feed and say what God promise he is going to perform, Let me tell you something, how many of us have dropped some dreams? Let your hands representing those dropped dreams, and everybody say this, “I am going trust you, with this dream like never before. Jesus I trust you from these days forward, my dream will live. Amen !!! Heavenly Father, we come before you humbled by your Word. Thank you for the powerful reminder that you are the God who gives dreams and the God who resurrects them. For every dropped dream represented here today—every hope that has felt deferred, every vision that has been laid down in weariness or despair—we ask for your divine intervention. Just as you opened Hagar’s eyes to see the well of water she had missed, open our eyes, Lord. Help us to see the provision and the path forward that you have already prepared for us. Rekindle the faith to believe that what you have promised, you are faithful to perform. We ask for the courage to walk back and pick up what we have dropped, trusting not in our own strength, but in your resurrection power to bring our God-given dreams to life. Strengthen our hands and encourage our hearts for the journey ahead. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen. Gracious and Holy God, as we gather around this table, we come not because we are worthy, but because we are invited. We come with our scattered minds and burdened hearts, asking you to quiet our souls and draw us into your presence. In this sacred moment of remembrance, open the eyes of our faith. As we take this bread and cup, help us to see beyond the simple elements to the profound truth they represent: the body broken for our healing, the blood poured out for our forgiveness. Prepare our hearts to receive this gift with humility and awe. Unite us afresh with Christ and with one another, as we partake of the one loaf. May this communion be a true nourishment for our spirits, strengthening us to face the world as your people, renewed in love and committed to your service. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen. Jesus said, ‘This is my body which is for you; do this in memory of me’. Take this in remembrance that Christ died for you and feed on him in your heart by faith with thanksgiving. In the same way, he took the cup after supper, and said: ‘This cup is the new covenant sealed by my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this in memory of me.’ 1 Corinthians 11.25 Prayer Lord Jesus, we thank you for this bread and this cup. Thank you for your body broken for us. Thank for your blood shed for us. As we take this, help us remember your great love. Help us believe, and help us be made new. We love you, Jesus. Amen.
