John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." Chapter 16 Christ continues to inform the Disciples of their impending fate John 16: 1-7 Christ foretells that they will be persecuted Christ announces the coming of the Holy Spirit JOHN 16:21-22 21 “A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the suffering, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you John 16: 30b By this we believe that You came forth from God.” 16: 31 Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?
