    Fruit of the Spirit Lesson Objective:  To study Fruit of the Spirit and how it relates to other scriptures. Scripture:    But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law  Galatians 5:22-23   Introduction A Tree Known by Its Fruit 33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its Matthew 12:33 How do people know whom we represent? A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. 35By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another John 13: 34-35 Chapter 5 is stating how we should interact with each other To have a spiritually healthy life we must make sure that we eat of the fruit daily. We must understand that all of these components are necessary which is why it it not fruits but a single fruit. All nine intersect and depend on each other Other similar verses 2 Peter 2: 5-7 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth Ephesians 4: 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Fruit of the Spirit Love 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. We are obligated to seek forgiveness from those who we have wronged which begins with confession and repentance Repentance Psalms 51: 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. metanoia - It has two usual senses: a "change of mind" and "regret/remorse." Forgiveness and perfection Hebrews 10: 26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, John 8:11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” 1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous The road to eternal life begins with repentance and goes through confession and forgiveness.

    Are You Qualified Part II? 90 Day Probationary Period Lesson Objective:  To look at how we develop the skill sets necessary to be good and productive workers for God Scripture:  Mark 4:2-9 (parable of the sower) What Is the purpose of a probationary period? For the employee to determine if they fit in the company .Judges 7: 2-3 The LORD said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’ 3 Now announce to the army, ‘Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.’ ” So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained. Lesson Objective:  To determine if we have the skill set and tools necessary to be a workman for God Scriptures:  Ephesians 6: 10-18 Despite 61 percent of Americans acknowledging that a gap does exist between the skills Americans have and those employers seek, 95 percent consider themselves to be either qualified or overqualified for the positions they hold. With such a disparity, one has to ask themselves if they are ignorant or egotistical. God is seeking workers in his vineyard Luke 10:2 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the LORD of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.     Are you Happy? Are you really happy? Lesson Objective:  To  look deep within to determine if we are truly happy and if not what steps can we take to reach happiness.     Decision Making 101 How To Make Great Decisions? Lesson Objective:  To  discuss the process of making decisions and understanding that we can always make better decisions.  More importantly understanding that what is most important is what you do after you make the decision Scripture: Luke 6: 12-15 Steps in making Decisions The stool of God’s wisdom is held up by three-legs: the Bible, Godly counsel, and prayer Pray. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him 2.     1 Chronicles 16:11 "Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!" Be careful for what you pray--  wisdom or answer????     How To Use Our Five Senses To Make Sense Lesson Objective: To study how using our five senses can get us into trouble without using our sixth sense.
